Chalet Hotel Cocon des Neiges is located at 1,850m in Les Bruyères, just below Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in the Alps. The snow record here is just amazing and is recognised as one of the best snow-sure destinations in Europe. Views from the Chalet Hotel are just jaw-dropping: to one side you look straight up the Les Bruyères ski area and to the other side, the spectacular slopes of Pointe de La Masse and the Cime de Caron. Whichever direction you look, you’ll be blown away.

Our Chalet Hotel Cocon des Neiges offers guests a twist on our catered chalets or a standard hotel room. Your self-contained suite offers not only somewhere to sleep at night, but also your own private living area – perfect for when you want some private family time. Breakfasts and meals are taken in the large dining area overlooking the piste where the bar, lounge, and our nursery can also be found. Chalet Hotel Cocon des Neiges is available exclusively to Ski Famille guests creating a relaxed atmosphere with other like-minded family groups.

There are five categories of Suites, ranging from the single-space Studio Suite to the multi-bedroom, multi-bathroom Premium Suite. All suites have a private hot-tub on the balcony, but Suites 10, 17 and 19 have a sauna at an additional supplement.

Life in Our 1st Ski Famille Chalet Hotel

Just as with all our chalets, the Cocon des Neiges is exclusive to Ski Famille, assuring you of the company of like-minded family guests. So far, so much the same as our chalets then. But here are a few of the differences, in the form of extra enhancements we have been able to build in to your stay with us here, thanks to the size, space and facilities available at the Chalet Hotel:

-Our dedicated Nursery for Mini Marmots is on the same level as the main dining-room and guest lounge, and as well as providing a safe play area, has its own sleep-room with cots, a WC and a small kitchenette to enable our nannies to prepare bottles and baby food for your child.

-Our spacious Playroom for Monty’s Afternoon Club is situated on the top floor where it doubles as an assembly area for Monty’s Ski Club as it also has an enclosed terrace for safe outdoor play with a door leading directly to the meeting point in front of the hotel.

-Monty’s Ski Club is an upgrade to our usual group lessons where the lessons are exclusive to Ski Famille children and there is a maximum of 8 children per class*. There is also a medal ceremony on a Friday after skiing.

-Supervised High Tea for children aged 4 months to 12 years adds an extra hour of care (17.00 to 18.00) to your child’s day allowing mums and dads time to get ready for dinner before bathing the little ones or enjoying a quiet drink in the bar.

-Monty’s Pyjama Club provides children with supervised sleep or a quiet end to the day from 19.00-22.00 while parents enjoy a relaxed dinner together, if they so wish.
