When families think of Easter skiing, they often picture long days, plenty of sunshine… but a lack of snow…

As we move one step closer to Easter, this certainly isn’t the case at all. This is by far the snowiest season in 30 years with snow depths now reaching up to 4 metres in La Plagne.

We’ve seen increased snow depths in Les Gets and Les Menuires since our last snow report. Now with over 3 metres of snow in its upper areas, Les Menuires (home to Les Bruyeres and Reberty 2000) is living up to its reputation as a snow-sure resort. Les Gets isn’t lagging too far behind with nearly 2.5 metres.

All of our resorts look set for further top-ups of powder. Nearly 30 cm is expected in all of our resorts.

It is clear that the snow is not going to stop anytime soon. Families considering a skiing holiday this Spring certainly won’t have to worry about melting snow. Our resorts now have fantastic bases and the constant top-ups of fresh powder means skiing conditions are ideal.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 6th March) is looking likely to be the snowiest day of the week with 10 cm forecast in Les Gets and La Plagne. Les Menuires and Les Gets are also expecting a further 10 cm on Sunday (11th March) – this comes just in time for our next batch of guests. There’s nothing better than starting off your week in the mountains with fresh powder!

Make the most of our snowy resorts this March and April. The snow may not be disappearing anytime soon however our offers will soon melt away! With limited rooms available, book now to guarentee a family skiing holiday in the Alps.
