The cold snap that has hit the UK has also been experienced across the continent. A chill in the air can be unwelcome at home, but out in the mountains it’s a very different story.
All of our resorts have seen fresh snow, with depths of up to 60 cms in places. The forecast looks set to stay cold and resorts have been sending out the piste bashers to compact the snow and start building a base for the first wave of holiday makers in mid December – always a good sign.
We’re crossing everything that this is the start of a great winter for family skiers.
