Cocon des Neiges, Les Gets (1st Update)

Chalet Cocon des Neiges will be our seventh chalet in magical Les Gets and we are confident it’ll become a popular choice with you.

Sleeping up to five families (or 18 people), this new family-friendly chalet is currently being built to our own specifications to ensure it works well with families in mind. The exterior building work is already complete and the focus has now been shifted to the interior. We look forward to welcoming our first guests to the chalet at the start of the ski season in December 2019. 

Fantastic Location

The property is in a prime location near the Mont Chéry chair lift so you could be the first to tackle the fresh, untouched powder in the morning.

The pistes on the Mont Chéry side of Les Gets tend to be quieter than the Chavannes slopes on the opposite side of the picturesque village. This’ll mean you can simply roll out of bed and be the first to carve your tracks; every seasoned skier’s dream! There are some fantastic mountainside restaurants on this side of Les Gets too; many offering stunning views, such as Restaurant La Grande Ourse.

As the village is very compact, adults can easily reach the chair lifts on the other (Chavannes) side of Les Gets in under 5-minutes on foot. Ski lessons take place here and we organise a free Ski Famille shuttle service for children booked into Mountain Marmots ski lessons. Our childcare team will supervise your children at all times on the free shuttle service.

The Chalet

On the lower ground floor, you’ll find a heated boot room and the chalet’s dedicated and well-stocked playroom (just like all of our chalets). It’s here that our renowned in-chalet childcare takes place. As part of our À La Carte Childcare, our nannies and carers join your children in the comfort of your chalet’s playroom. Your children can make full use of your spacious accommodation’s playroom facilities, however they will not be confined to the playroom alone; our childcare team encourages outdoor play too. Many of the comments praise the ‘relaxed home-from-home atmosphere’ that this unique approach creates and how it puts both parents and children immediately at ease. Besides that, there’s no snowy trudge to a centralised crèche in the morning, allowing you to be among the first to embrace the snowy conditions.

The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge and dining area – currently getting the electricity fitted and then furnished. It’s here that you’ll enjoy delicious cuisine and fine wines. Outside of the building on the ground level is the chalet’s hot tub. You can be sure of high-quality interiors as well as outdoor hot tubs in all sixteen of our chalets.

The first and second floors contain family suites and one standalone bedroom, all with their own bathrooms and balconies. We’re confident that that the “den-like room” in suite 4 is going to be a hit with the children… strictly no grown-ups allowed!
