Easter Ski Holidays

In Chalet Childcare Operator

Longer days and better weather

***NEWSFLASH – 25th March now has larger reductions for kids e.g. Free 1st child up to 4 years old or 1st 5-10 years old now 70% off!

Easter holidays are a fantastic time for a family ski holiday.  The resorts are warmer and the days are longer, and you can expect a good snow base too. Combine this with later lift closure times and you’ll have more time for skiing. The only challenge can be pulling yourself away from a sun-kissed terrace to put in some more ski time! And don’t forget the sun lotion!

We have some super prices for Easter: departing 25th March for those lucky to be off that week and the main two Easter weeks departing 1st and 8th April.

Our chalets fill up quickly over Easter and so we recommend you book well in advance to secure your ideal property.

Activities in Resorts

Many resorts celebrate the return of the warmer weather by holding a variety of outdoor events and activities on the slopes. La Plagne hosts its annual Subli’Cimes festival throughout the second week of April bringing the slopes alive with a diverse range of entertainment suitable for all age groups.

For those grown-ups (and older kids!) staying in Reberty 2000 or Bruyeres in Les Menuires, you could always try an hour (or two!) at the Folie Douce in Val Thorens and see if you can match the dance moves of the professionals! On the lovely, sunny days, the live DJs blare their music over the pistes from the outdoor speakers with skiers in ski boots dancing on the tables and enjoying the atmosphere. The lunches there tend to be good too.

Great Value Holidays

Spring sees some of the best value family skiing holidays of the year. Packages are great value as the end of the season draws near.

Spring skiing also means sales in the shops, providing the perfect opportunity to try out those skis you’ve had your eye on, or buy some new salopettes to replace the ones you wore out 2 years ago!

Self Drive to the Alps

The long spring days also make self-driving to the Alps a great cost effective travel option. With plenty of interesting places to stop off at en-route, it is an interesting choice for families with slightly older children.

On the 25th March and 1st April, we may be able to include a Eurotunnel flexiplus pass meaning you can travel whenever you like. How about extending your ski holiday with a city break, or stop-off in Calais on your way home to stock up on some French wines!
