The fantastic Red PomPom Night New Year’s Eve Party is the perfect excuse to don your finery and celebrate the end of 2015 with a bang. La Plagne sublicimes – 3rd – 15th April 2016 – La Plagne
This truly unique event encourages skiers of all ages and abilities to embrace the joys of skiing in spring. There is still plenty to enjoy on the slopes at this time of year and La Plange opens its Paradiski area offering 6 different themed peaks to ski on in your own time, at your own pace.
Themes such as the world of giants, a tropical beach, and a ‘zen’ area for peace and relaxation mean that there is something that will appeal to everyone, and with music and festivities galore, the whole family is sure to have a truly brilliant time.
La Plagne Experiences
Glisse Experience – Ice Cave
The Ice Cave in La Plagne is an unmissable experience that both you and your children will love. The cave sits at the top of the Plagne Bellecote glacier, which is 3417m high. Here you can explore the breath-taking interior and the truly impressive ice sculptures of animals and figures which are re-crafted each year when the ice melts and reforms. The many layers of the glacier also create a natural light show in the caves with colours ranging from deep green to pale blue, making for a beautiful sight and a truly unique experience.
Bob sleigh experience
The Bob sleigh experience at la Plagne is great fun and a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience how it feels to be an Olympian! This exhilarating ride can see you travelling at speeds of up to 120km/h. You can chose from the bob raft, mono-bob, or the real bobsleigh run. The adrenaline kick of this thrilling ride is like none other.
Age restrictions do apply however, and children under 14 are unfortunately unable to take part.
