La Plagne not only offers fantastic skiing, but also a range of great apres ski activities the whole family can enjoy. Here’s what’s on in La Plagne this season.

December

From the 18th-24th of December there are a range of fun festive Christmas activities taking place in Montchavin/ Les Coches. From walking with donkeys in the snow to exhilarating and magical sledge runs with Santa, this is one the children are sure to love.

On Thursday 22nd of December the whole family can enjoy the atmospheric torchlight descent in Montchavin/ Les Coches. This is an annual event put on by the ESF instructors. you can watch from the side of the slopes as the instructors create a beautiful procession of lights, and children can even join in too, providing they have reached their second star of course!

New Years Eve is a fantastic time to be in La Plagne, and to make it extra special why not attend Le Nuit Du Pompon Rogue? This is a huge event taking place each year in La Plagne! Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy the celebrations with a percussionist, violinist, jugglers, DJs and dancefloor too! Starting from 10:30 p.m. until 1:30 am – the perfect start to a brand new year!

January

On Friday 13th January you won’t want to miss La Grande Odyssey – which is Europe’s largest husky dog race. An exhilarating and exciting event that is fun for all the family!

February

From Saturday 4th February to the 11th February it is Children’s Week in Montchavin/ Les Coches. This means there will be a whole host of exciting activities for children to take part in which are sure to keep them entertained when not having fun on the slopes!

On Thursday 23rd February prepare to be seriously impressed at the Born to Be Show which includes a torch lit display, fantastic fireworks and lively music.

March

Wednesday the 15th March sees the return of the Telemark World Cup. The race is on to see who will be crowned the Telemark world champion – come and cheer on the competitors while you watch this exhilarating and thrilling race.

April

From the 5th – 18th of April is the massive Sublicimes Festival. This annual event is not to be missed and is where revellers can enjoy six different themed parties, each held on a different mountain peak around the resort. Music, rides and enchanted fairy lands await!
